Meet our incredible team of dedicated sighthound enthusiasts who make FLIGHTS possible. This passionate group of hardworking volunteers generously gives countless hours beyond their full-time jobs to ensure that every FLIGHTS dog — along with our foster families and adopters — receives the care, support, and attention they deserve. Their commitment, compassion, and tireless efforts are the heart of everything we do, helping create safe journeys and happy futures for each dog in our program.

About the FLIGHTS Team

FLIGHTS operates a foster-based adoption program in Ontario, and surrounding areas of Canada. We are a 100% volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization made up of dedicated and compassionate individuals who share a common goal: to find Greyhounds and Salukis homes.

FLIGHTS is committed to supporting any greyhound and saluki in need. Our Greyhounds and Salukis come from a variety of locations and backgrounds, and each arrives with their own unique history and individual needs.

Our goal is to provide every dog in our care with the medical attention, care, compassion, and respect they deserve. Once they are ready, we carefully match them with their forever home through our adoption program. We remain committed to ensuring that each adopted dog continues to be loved, cared for, and respected for the remainder of their life.

Giving Back & Building Community

At FLIGHTS, we believe that rescue is about more than finding homes for dogs. It is also about giving back, building connections, and creating lasting and meaningful relationships within our communities.

We believe strongly in networking and supporting other reputable animal organizations whenever we can. Our volunteers give back to their communities in many different ways, including, but not limited to:

  • Donating to local shelters
  • Transporting animals and supplies for other organizations
  • Donating items to support reputable groups with fundraising efforts
  • Sharing knowledge, resources, and support with organizations working toward similar goals

We are proud to be part of a larger community of people and organizations working together to make a difference. By helping one another, we can help more animals.
