Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis
FLIGHTS was created to facilitate the adoption of retired Irish racing greyhounds. In 2021 FLIGHTS expanded its mandate to include salukis and saluki mixes from the Middle East and in 2023 we expanded again, to include retired Australian greyhounds. FLIGHTS facilitates the transport of retired greyhounds and Middle Eastern hounds to the custody of our pre approved foster homes, before permanent adoption.
Our Mission
FLIGHTS – Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis was established in 2015 as a volunteer based, not-for-profit organization located in Ontario, Canada.
As an organization, we endeavor to support are partner groups at all levels. We provide post-adoptive support for Internationally retired greyhounds, Middle Eastern salukis and saluki mixes that FLIGHTS brings into Canada. We promote responsible adoption through education, speaking engagements, sighthound community work.
Our mission has evolved, with adding Salukis and Australian greyhounds, we are now FLIGHTS – Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis.
