Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis
FLIGHTS was established to facilitate the adoption of retired Irish racing and coursing greyhounds. In 2021, FLIGHTS expanded its mission to include salukis and saluki mixes from the Middle East. In 2023, we broadened our reach again to support retired Australian greyhounds. FLIGHTS coordinates the safe transport of retired greyhounds and Middle Eastern sighthounds into the care of our pre-approved foster homes, where they receive support and transition assistance before finding their permanent adoptive families within Ontario & Quebec Canada.
Our Mission
FLIGHT – Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together was established in 2015.
FLIGHTS is a Greyhound & Saluki adoption and foster organization based in Ontario, Canada, with representation across Southwestern Ontario and into Ottawa. We are entirely volunteer-run by a dedicated team who are deeply passionate about sighthounds as companion animals.
As an organization, we are committed to supporting our international partners. FLIGHTS brings retired international Greyhounds, Middle Eastern Salukis into Canada and provides comprehensive post-adoption support to ensure successful transitions into loving homes.
We actively promote responsible adoption through education, community outreach, speaking engagements, and engagement within the sighthound community.
As our mission has grown, we have expanded to include Salukis as well as Australian and British Greyhounds.
Today, we are proudly known as FLIGHTS – Finding Loving International Greyhounds Homes Together & Salukis, reflecting our continued dedication to helping sighthounds find safe, loving homes.
