ADOPTION GROUP INQUIRIES

FLIGHTS facilitates the transportation of retired Irish racing greyhounds from our partners in Ireland as well as Middle Eastern salukis from our partners in Qatar to approved greyhound adoption agencies in North America.

FLIGHTS works with greyhound adoption groups that have established foster and adoption programs. This is to ensure that any Irish greyhound and Middle Eastern saluki or saluki mix that FLIGHTS brings to North America is appropriately supported by the greyhound adoption group and placed into loving forever homes. If your adoption group is interested in becoming one of FLIGHTS’ partner adoption groups, please complete the Adoption Group application. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Once your application has been received, the Adoption Group Coordinator will review the application and the requested reference material. Once everything has been reviewed and assessed, the Adoption Group Coordinator will contact your group to advise you of the results of the review.

Essential Criteria

Home visit process that has been in place for at least 5 years.
Foster and adoption programs that have been in place for at least 5 years.
Post-adoptive support is provided to adopters.
Any Irish hound or Middle Eastern saluki/saluki mix relinquished back to the adoption group will be placed in foster care until an appropriate home is identified.
